Tax Calculators
Free, interactive tax calculators updated for the 2026 tax year. Each tool uses official IRS figures and shows its math step by step. More calculators are in development covering federal income tax, OBBBA deductions, paycheck estimation, self-employment tax, capital gains, retirement planning, and all 50 states plus DC.
Currently available:
Additional tools in active development include the federal income tax calculator with all seven 2026 brackets, the No Tax on Tips calculator for the new IRC §224 deduction (up to $25,000 per year for qualifying tipped employees), the No Tax on Overtime calculator for the premium-pay deduction under IRC §225, the senior bonus deduction calculator ($6,000 for taxpayers 65 and older), and the SALT cap calculator reflecting the new $40,400 limit. We are also building a paycheck calculator, W-4 withholding optimizer, bonus tax calculator, self-employment tax calculator with quarterly estimated payment dates, 401(k) and IRA contribution calculators, an HSA triple-tax-advantage estimator, and capital gains calculators for both short-term and long-term rates. State-specific income tax calculators for all 50 states and the District of Columbia are planned as well.
Every calculator is built on data sourced directly from IRS Revenue Procedure 2025-32, the OBBBA statute text, Social Security Administration announcements, and individual state revenue department publications. No calculator goes live until all figures it depends on have been verified against primary sources. See our Methodology and Sources pages for details on how we source and verify data.
